Who we are...

Filipiniana Australia Owner

We find joy in celebrating our beloved Filipino culture. As a growing business, we are passionate about honouring the craftsmanship of our people from the land we know as ‘the three stars and the sun’. We offer a range of modern, yet true to our culture, Filipino clothing. Whether you are in search of formal attire for an event, or a casual outfit to wear on a regular day out, we are able to help you find something to allow you to express yourself in our vibrant outfits while ensuring you are comfortable and relaxed as you do so. Through this, we strive to assist you in making sure you look good and feel good!

Mabuhay! Welcome to Filipiniana Avenue.

Filipiniana Avenue began as a simple idea and is constantly evolving into a growing and much-loved business to many, each day. The driving force of this business is Mary Joy, a loving mother to three gorgeous, young boys. The idea that eventually developed into what we know as Filipiniana Avenue today, all came about as we year after year, found ourselves in a similar situation, as we searched hopelessly for a last-minute Harmony Day costume for our kids to wear to school. As parents, we are all too familiar with our children telling us at the last minute that they need an outfit for a school event. This is how Filipiniana Avenue came to be.

Our Vision

Ultimately, our vision at Filipiniana Avenue is to cater to all individuals from various age groups and backgrounds. We want to encourage the younger generation of Filipinos who may not have grown up in the Philippines, to embrace and have pride in their country’s culture, wherever they reside. We want to keep our honourable Filipino culture alive in the modern day, through our own youth as they wear and showcase our filipinianas and barongs.

Not only this, but through our growing business, we are able to help our talented Filipino craftsmen by ensuring that they are able to continue creating their art, which has been passed down through generations of hard-working Filipino families. We want to recognise these special individuals who are the reason we are able to have a thread that links us to who we are as Filipinos, and provide us with a small piece of home through the filipinianas and barongs that we wear.
